In your role you report directly to the Central Europe Quality Manager and functionally to the Site Operations Manager. You are responsible for coordination, implementation,  development and maintenance of all requirements to comply with all quality standards of the company, as well as the continuous improvement of food safety and hygiene in relation to the products, the operation and the workers.  This includes , the quality of incoming and outgoing goods in full compliance with the predefined requirements in order to guaranty the food safety and customer satisfaction.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

-        Ensure food security and hygiene throughout operation

 

-        You introduce, coordinate, update, develop and improve of standards and health conditions in operation

 

-        Personnel training especially for quality and hygiene, as well as training on standards

 

-        HACCP team responsible - coordinate, test, update and document of the HACCP plan and the hygiene plan

 

-        Responsible for compliance with and updating of BRC, IFS, FSC22000 certifications or other certification systems (Halal, Kosher, MSC, RSPO, …)

 

-        Processing of complaints, their validation, root cause analyses and corrective measures. Inform customers in case of questions.

 

-        Follow-up the implementation of corrective actions to operators and provide specific training when needed.

 

-        Manage and coach the site quality team (2 QA Officer, 2 QC Officers and 6 Lab technicians).

 

-        Managing  the QC department and ensuring its good organisation: proposing the investment projects necessary for the smooth running of the department, coordinating, coaching, motivating, supervising, evaluating the QC employees, developing their skills and ensuring their ongoing training.

 

-        Improving, adapting or modifying control procedures when necessary.

-        Ensure the follow-up of analysis plans and standards for the different raw materials and finished products.

 

-        Ensure the follow-up of the Pest Control .

-        Responsible for customer / supplier communication, regarding quality related questions.

 

-        Provision of information in relation with the preparation of the Management Review

 

-        Follow up of the Food law legislation

 

-        Support of the Technical Documentation Department

 

-        Participate in implementation of improvement projects, new equipment installation, new systems, new process in relationship with Food Safety, Quality and Hygiene.

 

-        Guarantee Solina Group’s Policies, Procedures and/or Instructions for Quality, Food Safety, Health and Safety, Environment are fulfilled.

Your profile:

 

In order to successfully carry out the above responsibilities,

 

· You have a Master's degree in Bio-engineering or other food-related Master's degree complemented by extensive work experience in food.

 

· You have a thorough knowledge of quality management systems, BRC, IFS, FSSCC 22000.

 

· You have good communication skills in English and French, German is a plus.

 

· You are a born people manager with a positive attitude who values confidentiality and integrity and you like working 'on the field' to have frequent contract with the operators.

 

· Finally, you have an analytical and conceptual mindset and you can work in a fast-pace environment.
